Shoreditch Town Hall is a London treasure, and over the last decade has been fully restored to its former glory.
Following local consultations in the mid 1990's about what to do with the deteriorating grade II listed building, Shoreditch Town Hall Trust was formed with a mission to restore and maintain it for the community.
Shoreditch Town Hall Trust was awarded a Biffaward grant of £47,294 in December 2004, which helped with the multi-million pound restoration project, by enabling the reinvigoration of the three former Committee Rooms.

By refurbishing the rooms and adding new flooring, lighting, audio-visual equipment and furniture, they have been transformed into modern, functional community areas. Warm, welcoming spaces, suitable for a wide range of activities. The new Committee Rooms will host more than 15,000 people a year. |

The way is now clear for the Shoreditch Town Hall Trust to fulfill its mission. By 2012 when London hosts the Olympic Games, they aim to make Shoreditch Town Hall an iconic showcase for Shoreditch. A quality venue, financially secure, for a vibrant mix of uses. |
