The following hints and tips help in using this website with a variety of different browsers.

Access Keys

The following access keys are supported.

  • 9 - Contact us
  • 0 - Access key help

Depending on your operating system and browser, the access keys can be activated by holding down the Alt, the Ctrl, or the 'Apple' key, and then pressing the appropriate access key.

Changing Text Size

Some people find the text on the screen can be difficult to read. If you are working at a higher screen resolution or using a laptop with a smaller screen you may find the text too small to read easily. Also if you have a vision impairment you may also want to increase the size of the text to make it easier to read.

Changing the text size is achieved in different ways using different browsers. Some of these browsers and the methods used are listed below. The instructions are geared towards Windows users. Usage on other operating systems is similar.

Internet Explorer

You can change the size of the text by selecting the View menu, then selecting Text Size and the size you require.

If you have a mouse with a scroll wheel, then you can change the text size by holding down the 'Ctrl' key and rotating the wheel.

Firefox

You can change the size of the text by selecting the View menu, then selecting Increase or Decrease to change the text size.

Alternatively you can hold down the 'Ctrl' key and press '+' to increase the text size, 'Ctrl' and '-' to decrease the text size. 'Ctrl' and '0' returns you to the default size.

Opera

You can increase or decrease the '+' and '-' keys on the numeric decrease the size by 10%.

Safari

To change the text size, click on the 'View' menu with the mouse, then click on 'Make Text Bigger' or 'Make Text Smaller' to change the size.

You can also use the keyboard shortcuts: increase the text size with 'Alt' and '+', and decrease with 'Alt' and '-'.
