Biffaward News and Press Releases

IMPORTANT UPDATE - changes to the Main Grants application process (01 April 2008)

We have made some important and exciting changes to the application process for the Main Grants scheme.

A new 'Expression of Interest' form (available on our downloads page) has replaced the traditional application form. The new form is shorter, and gives you the chance to 'sell' your project to us.  If your project meets our assessment criteria and ticks all the right boxes, we will invite you to complete a full application for consideration by the Biffaward Board.

From 30 April 2008, we will only accept applications made on the Expression of Interest form.  Any applications received after this date using the old form will be returned.

These changes are designed to improve the process - as we continue to receive high numbers of applications, they will enable us to take forward the best proposals and give better guidance to those who have been unsuccessful.

You will not be required to be enrolled as an Environmental Body with ENTRUST at the Expression of Interest stage.  However, this will be necessary if you are invited to make a full application.

If you have any queries about these changes, please contact us on 01636 670000 or email biffaward@rswt.org.
